About

I’m Glynis Klein, a creative writer, and entrepreneur. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Applied Social Science, with majors in psychology and counseling.

I spent the first half of my life in Cape Town, South Africa, a country that shaped my early identity and resilience.

Recently, my family extended our footprint to New Zealand to start our next life chapter. I live with my husband and two daughters in Wellington.

I’m a creative introvert, passionate about personal- and spiritual growth and I harness this passion to develop psycho-educational resources that foster meaningful living.

In 2023 I launched several self-paced, on-demand e-courses focused on personal and spiritual growth.

After graduating in 2021, I launched a blog called Midlife Hours. It focuses on empowering midlife adults to use their innate strengths, skills, and vast life experiences to thrive in this life season.

To facilitate a healthy balance between work, rest, and leisure, I enjoy nature walks in our beautiful new surroundings to refresh and reset physically and mentally.

Non-fiction reading and journaling are the tools I use for spiritual and personal growth, and spending quality time with family and friends fuels my need for social connection.

Between baking, jigsaw puzzles, and crocheting I also do genealogy research to capture and preserve my family history.

I believe we’re always evolving through our professional and individual experiences. And, that challenges are a healthy part of our growth because it fosters patience, perseverance, and resilience - character traits the demands of the world call for today.
